Dealing with the task to design a multifunctional furniture, my fellow student Daniel Fischer and I developed a script, which made it possible to create individual sponge structures.
The spring force of the structure can be adjusted differently via the characteristics of the individual nodes. For our piece we planned a two-sided design, so that it can either be used as as side table or as a soft seat. The structures are meant to be produced by 3D printers.
